The beautiful areas at Vejers Strand Camping are perfect for an active holiday. There's no need to fly far away for an active holiday. Vejers Strand Camping is surrounded by unique nature with beautiful dunes, heathland and forest just waiting to be utilised. Get your hiking boots out and enjoy the outdoor life first class. The sunset gets a little more beautiful afterwards.

All the way around the campsite is Vejers Plantage, which extends over 600 hectares of forest. Here you'll find nature trails and both challenging and accessible hiking routes for all ages and levels. So lace up your hiking boots and explore the breathtaking forest areas that really show what Denmark as a natural country has to offer.
Take your binoculars out into the unspoilt nature and discover the rich animal and plant life. The area is especially known for having a large population of diurnal red deer. Maybe you'll be lucky enough to spot the big grazers in one of the open areas!

In September, there are beautiful mushrooms around Vejers – there is also a Svampeuge (Mushroom Week) in the area.
If you're going hiking in the area around Vejers, it's a good idea to bring a motorhome, van, caravan or perhaps a tent.
