Family weekend - children stay for free
When we organise a Family Weekend at Vejers Strand Camping, you can treat the children or grandchildren and yourself to a wonderful weekend in a caravan or tent.

Of course, we understand that. And with us, it's never been easier to holiday with your dog in Denmark.
Dog boarding is often an expensive necessity when you go on holiday. But it can also be difficult to leave man's best friend at home when your holiday comes around. Especially if your dog already spends a lot of time alone in everyday life. Besides, dogs are often just as much a part of the family as the rest of us.
At Vejers Strand Camping, we welcome everyone on our pitches and in our cabins - including the four-legged members of the family. In fact, we think we have one of the best settings for an active holiday in pleasant surroundings for families, children and dogs.
Let us tell you why...

With us, you can pitch your caravan or tent just 100 metres from the North Sea and experience the tranquillity and closeness that the raw and unspoilt nature inspires. You can also book one of our Beach Cabins, where dogs are also welcome.
Vejers Strand Camping is ideal if you bring your dog on holiday. Here you can walk your dog in beautiful surroundings right by the North Sea, on protected and private nature trails close to Vejers Plantage and in large, dense forest areas.
In our sanitary buildings, we have a dog bath available to wash off both the salt water of the North Sea and the sand from the beautiful sandy beaches after a day filled with cosy activities.
It's a good idea to bring your dog's own basket and some familiar dog toys. This will help them feel more comfortable in their new surroundings.

You can also put your dog in the car and go for a short drive. We have several dog forests nearby. For example, in Oksby Klitplantage (Danish) near Blåvand, which is just a 20-minute drive from our camping area.
Our unique location and hilly terrain in the dunes offers plenty of opportunities for play and activities for adults, children and the four-legged members of the family close to the North Sea.
During the summer months from April to September, your dog must be on a leash when you go to the beach. However, if he jumps into the North Sea, he can romp around all he wants without a leash.
Please note: Dogs must be kept on a leash at the campsite.
Spend your next holiday with your dog by the North Sea with us. It's quick and easy to book a place.
In September, there are beautiful mushrooms around Vejers – there is also a Svampeuge (Mushroom Week) in the area.
